Enable/Disable Events

Events have an enable property that can be used to prevent activation of the event at its regularly scheduled date and time. The enable is useful when configuring or testing events – especially when making changes or tweaks to live HAL systems that are in use. The enable property is also linkable so that a Digital Remote or Web Page control could be provided to an end user to start or stop timed event activation.

To enable/disable an event (using the Event Manager dialog box):

  1. Click the Processing tab to open the Processing Workspace.
  2. On the Processing Workspace toolbar, click Events to open the Event Manager dialog box.
  3. Alter the enable state via the linkable check box in the Enable column.
