Adding a Link to a Preset

When you add a link to a preset, the activation state for the link is stored as part of the preset. When you activate (or assert) the preset, the activation state for the links in the preset are immediately set to the activation value saved to the preset.

Following are several procedures for adding a link to a preset. You can use any one of them, as the end result is the same.

To add a link to a preset (using the All Presets dialog box):

  1. In the Processing Workspace toolbar, click Presets to open the All Presets dialog box.

  2. Locate the preset to which you want to add a link.
  3. Locate the link to be added in the All Links dialog or open the Link dialog.
  4. Click the preset icon in the All Links or Link dialog and drag it onto the drop target associated with the relevant preset:

To add a link to a preset (using the preset properties dialog box):

  1. In the Processing Workspace toolbar, click Presets to open the All Presets dialog box.

  2. Locate the preset to which you want to add a block and click its name. The preset's properties dialog displays.
  3. Locate the link to be added in the All Links dialog or open the Link dialog.
  4. Click the preset icon in the All Links or Link dialog and drag it onto the drop target associated with the relevant preset:
