Working with the Scratch Pad

Each preset you create has a Scratch Pad associated with it. The Scratch Pad is disabled by default, but if you enable it, the system will then track and save any changes made to parameters stored in the preset so that the next time the preset is activated, the changed values are returned. For example, let's assume you have a preset that contains a Level block that is linked to a DR1 (for end user control of volume). The stored value for the block's Gain parameter is 1 dB. You enable the preset's Scratch Pad. While the preset is active, an end user adjusts the volume to 2 dB. This new value is stored in the Scratch Pad. The next time you activate this preset, the Gain parameter in the Level block will be set to 2 dB.
