Aligning blocks in the Processing Workspace

In the Processing Workspace, you can quickly align and/or evenly distribute a group of blocks by first selecting the blocks and then applying the desired alignment function from the Processing Workspace Toolbar.

To align blocks in the processing workspace:

  1. Click the Processing tab to access the Processing Workspace.
  2. Select the group of blocks that need to be aligned.
  3. On the Processing Workspace toolbar, click Align to open the dropdown of available alignment options.
  4. Depending on the selection the blocks will be repositioned in one of six ways:
    • Align Left - All selected blocks are aligned with the left edge of the leftmost block.
    • Align Right - All selected blocks are aligned with the right edge of the rightmost block.
    • Align Top - All selected blocks are aligned with the top edge of the uppermost block.
    • Align Bottom - All selected blocks are aligned with the bottom edge of the lowermost block.
    • Horizontal Spacing - Evenly distributes all selected blocks in the horizontal direction starting with the leftmost block.

      tip: Specify the number of spaces between blocks by holding down the number key for the number of spaces to add between blocks (The default is 2).

    • Vertical Spacing - Evenly distributes all selected blocks in the vertical direction starting with the uppermost block.
