Get a Configuration from a HAL

If you are not currently connected to a HAL device, but would like to retrieve the configuration file from a HAL without disrupting the audio, open the connect or apply dialog and click the Get Config button.

To get a configuration file from a HAL:

1. From the Device menu, click Connect:
2. The Connect to Device dialog box appears, displaying all detected HAL devices.
3. Locate the HAL device you want and click its Get Config button:

note: The configuration can always be downloaded even if the Halogen and HAL versions do not match.
