With the HAL System, you do not have to wait until your hardware is in place before testing your presets! You can test them directly in the Halogen software. Of course, it's always a good idea to test them again after installing your hardware—but at that point you'll simply be verifying that the hardware is working correctly. By testing the presets in the software, you can eliminate simple configuration errors and rest assured that your presets are working properly. What a time savings!
