The HAL system provides support for external control systems such as AMX, Crestron, and Stardraw Control. Built in to both Halogen and HAL is a Control Server that allows one or more control systems to connect to Halogen/HAL and use external controls defined in your configuration. This section provides background information and detailed procedures for configuring and working with external control systems. In addition, it describes how to find and get started with the three support packages included with the Halogen installation or available on the Rane website.
